We have been busily updating (still not finished!) both our Wedding Venues and Testimonal pages, they are worth a look!

We were extremely delighted and priviledged to be asked to photograph Felicity and Jason’s Wedding at Leez Priory, especially as they both work for different Wedding venues and come across many different suppliers.   We could not have asked for a better day, mild, dry, with a few sunny spells, making our job easier.  Our day started early at Leez Priory, where Fi,her family and Bridesmaids were getting ready, so after a few pictures we left to go to St. Mary’s Church, Bocking, for the Church service.  After the Wedding Ceremony, a couple of family photographs were taken outside the Church, before departing to Leez Priory.  Guests enjoyed a Drinks Reception, whilst we took Fi and Jay for a short stroll around the superb grounds of Leez Priory for pictures of the two of them.  Not to be missed was a couple of lovely pictures just as the sun was setting.  Following the Weddding Breakfast, Fi and Jay were joined by their Evening Guests and the evening entertainment took place in the Coach House.  As  a surprise for everybody Fi had arranged fireworks for later in the evening, which ended a very special day.

It was a bright crisp winter’s day when we arrived at Westwood Park, Colchester, for Julie and Paul’s Wedding.  Paul, his Best Man and Ushers stepped outside to have a few photographs taken, before seeing the Registrars and Julie arriving.  After taking a few pictures of Julie and her Bridesmaids, it was time for the Civil Ceremony.  This was held in the lovely Old Library and was followed by a photograph of everybody in front of Westwood Park.  With the minimum of fuss we did a few requested photographs of close family and the Bridal party outside as well, then left the Guests to enjoy the Drinks Reception in the warmth of the House.  Julie and Paul wanted a few pictures in the grounds of Westwood Park and so for a few minutes (it was rather cold!), we went for a short walk with the two of them, capturing some lovely images in the late afternoon sunshine .  Later, we returned to the Old Library with Julie and Paul for a few more pictures, before finishing our coverage. We were delighted to have been asked to photograph this Wedding, as Julie is a Professional Photographer herself!  

What a brilliant day we had today at Charter Hall!  Thank you to everybody who visited our Stand and had a chat with us about your plans. We had such an enjoyable day and we were very pleased to come away with Wedding bookings.  Thank you!

David and I are looking forward to attending the Wedding Fair at Charter Hall, Colchester, this Sunday.   This Wedding Fair is one of the busiest and popular Fairs in the calendar, so is should be a good day for both exhibitors and couples.

We spent an enjoyable time recently taking pictures of Lois and Zoe. We first photographed Lois a couple of years ago and it was nice to photograph Zoe for the first time as well as take pictures of the two of them.

We were delighted to receive these lovely words from Lisa and Simon, whose Wedding we photographed last year at Stoke-by-Nayland Golf Club:-

“We would like to add our thanks once again for the fantastic job you both did on the day.  We have been through the proofs many times and can honestly say that there is not one image we dislike, you have captured our day fantastically.   Everyone we have spoken to has commented on the fantastic photographers we had and the professional manner you both went about your business, with everyone agreeing that the photographs look amazing – Lisa and I would like to second that, at no stage did we feel rushed or pushed, you simply helped make our day the fantastic one it was and have provided us with the perfect keepsake”.

We overlooked publishing this Wedding so we are making amends now.

It was an extremely hot day when Nina-Marie and Trevor got married in the beautiful Church of Sacred Heart of Jesus & St Josesph in Ware, Hertfordshire, in October 2011.  Our day started at Nina-Marie’s house for the final bridal preparations before leaving to go the Church.  After the service we  took a few pictures outside the Church before leaving to go to Parklands.  Everybody enjoyed relaxing and socialising in the superb grounds of Parklands during the Drinks reception, making for some lovely images. Following some family photographs we took Nina-Marie and Trevor for a short walk around Parklands for a few pictures of the two of them.  After covering the Speeches and taking some evening and First Dance pictures, we left everybody to enjoy the late evening celebrations.

Thank you to all Bride and Grooms who visited our Stands at the above yesterday.  Sorry we could not be there all day, we were photographing a Wedding.
