It was a great privilege to be invited by fellow photographer Dave Court to help photograph the St Francis Hospice Summer Golf Day. I am not sure any of the 52 golfers at Stock Brook Country Club realised it was summer due to persistent rain! Although everybody who helps raise funds for the Hospice movement is a star, it would be hard to ignore Barry Hearne whose participation was greatly appreciated. Learning how to use the Mitsubishi instant printer for event photography was extremely useful! Oh yes, neither myself or especially Dave Court (who also provided the prints) received any payment for this – that is what charity is about after all!

The weather held out for a stroll around the Public Gardens in Braintree with Anne and Stephen for their pre-wedding pictures. We were spoilt for choice with many nice spots to take some relaxed pictures of the two of them.  Anne and Stephen are getting married later in the year at Crabbs Barn, Kelvedon, Essex.

It was a pleasure to meet Sarah and Mark again as we had not seen them since 2010 when they booked us to photograph their Wedding.  Despite it being rather chilly at Walton-on-the-Naze, we did manage to take some pictures of Sarah and Mark before their Wedding at Stoke-by-Nayland Hotel later this year.

From time to time we do Public Relations photography in Essex, Suffolk, Kent and London.  On this occasion we were asked by Liz Curry, a local Novelist and Non Fiction writer to take some pictures of her for her Publishing Company.  We were delighted to oblige and achieved some nice photographs.

We have been honoured for the third successive year by one of our pictures being selected for the front cover of Essex County Council’s “Celebrate In Essex” booklet! All the photographers who advertise are asked to send pictures for possible use within the publication so it is a delight that another of ours should be used again this year.

We met Laura and Jon a while ago for their Engagement Pictures and found some lovely spots for a few pictures just down the road from Laura’s Parents’ Home.  By putting Laura and Jon at ease you can see we obtained some lovely pictures and are looking forward to their Wedding at Braxted Park in 2012.

It was good meeting Marios and Stephanie again prior to their Wedding in London in June.  A glorious day in Hyde Park, more of the same please on their Wedding Day!

Wow! What a really good Wedding Fair it was at Prested Hall, Kelvedon, today!  A massive thank you to the staff at Prested Hall and to everyone who attended despite the rain!  We thoroughly enjoyed talking to prospective Bride and Grooms, who came and spent time talking to us, and to cap a very successful Wedding Fair we finished the day with bookings and appointments to see people.

It was a chilly but dry afternoon when we met Georgina and Tom for their pre-Wedding pictures at Georgina’s family home.  After discussing final details of their Wedding we took a stroll around the farm, where we were spoilt for choice of where we took photographs of Georgina and Tom.  We had a fun time and are looking forward to their Wedding soon.
